The Camina & Schmid Lina 55 s is a high-performance single-sided fireplace insert crafted for those seeking both generous heat output and exceptional energy efficiency in a refined interior setting. Available in two height variants — 51 cm and 57 cm — with a wider front width of 550 mm, the Lina 55 s makes a bold visual statement while delivering outstanding warmth throughout any living space. The insert features a self-closing hinged door with adjustable lower air washing for optimised combustion, and the fire box inner lining is available in white chamotte, anthracite chamotte, or anthracite cast iron to suit any design aesthetic.

A high-grade cast-iron dome with all fully movable parts adjusts between 0–90°, providing precise control over heat direction and distribution throughout the room. The overall height can be quickly and simply adjusted, and the unit is easy to dismantle for transport, ensuring a smooth and flexible installation process. With a nominal heat output of 7 kW and a thermal output range of 3.4–7.4 kW, the Lina 55 s distributes 70% of its heat convectively and 30% through radiant output via the viewing window, creating an enveloping and consistent warmth.

Rated energy efficiency class A+ with a measured efficiency of 82.1% and an energy efficiency index (EEI) of 109.0, the Lina 55 s represents a step above standard A-class inserts and complies with the 1st Federal Emissions Control Ordinance Stage 2 and EU Regulation 2015/1186. The flue gas connector measures Ø 180 mm, with a Ø 125 mm combustion air connector available on the left, right, rear, or bottom; an optional Ø 150 mm bottom combustion air connector and double glazing are available at a surcharge. Recommended log length is 33 cm, and the unit weighs between 210–240 kg depending on configuration.
