Description
Schmid Ekko L 84 is an angled heart with lift hatch. Thanks to the corner opening, the fire is also visible from the side. A right-hand version is also available. The fireplace hatch is 84 cm wide and offers a great view of the fire. In addition, the height of the hatch can be chosen from two different heights. The fireplace hearth has a rated output of approximately 9 kW and is designed for medium sized rooms. The fireplace core has a lever for combustion air control.
Despite the lift hatch, the fireplace hearth is easy to maintain. The hatch opens from the side, making it easy to clean the glass of the hatch. Emptying the ashes is easy thanks to the lift-up ash tray.
Around the firebox you can build the desired shell structure. We recommend Silca sheet as a building material for the shells!

Lightness and tightness:The glass door of the fireplace moves quietly and without force thanks to a very easy-running bearing. The glass hatch with its seals presses into the fireplace frame when closed. Glass hatch mouldings:The stacked stainless steel mouldings keep the mouldings tight. Ash does not collect in the mouldings, but drips back into the firebox. The trapdoor stays clean. Fire air supply:Fire air is blown into the firebox from the top and bottom of the hatch. This keeps the glass of the hatch clean. The wood combustion is completed by supplying combustion air also from under the grate. The wood burns cleanly regardless of the amount of combustion air supplied. High-quality cast iron grate: The grate is made of 15mm thick cast iron. The cast iron grate does not need to be removed to remove the ash: fold the grate against the back wall and remove the ash box. Fireplace air connection:Standard on all fireplaces. For connection of external combustion air. Fire air can be taken from the side, rear or bottom. The fireplace is thus a fully enclosed system. Adjustable feet: Standard on all fireplaces. You can always get your fireplace heart at the right height with the screw-in adjustment feet. Excellent combustion air control:Depending on your heating needs, combustion air control can work wonders. For your specific needs, you can adjust the combustion air with a single lever at the bottom of the hatch. It's never been so easy to adjust the heat output and combustion time. Fireplace dome:The fireplace dome is the main heat source for the fireplace core. The hot flue gas releases heat through the cast iron dome into the circulating air. Cast iron can withstand very high temperatures and is a long-lasting material. The cast iron dome can be turned in all directions and is adjustable for all connections. Ease of maintenance:All parts are accessible from service hatches inside the fireplace core.
