Schmid Lina 87 is a high quality German-made fireplace with a lift hatch. It has a rated output of 10 kilowatts, making it particularly suitable for slightly larger rooms. The fireplace heater works on the principle of recirculation. The large 87 cm wide glass hatch offers a great view of the fire, which can be admired from a little further away. The stones in the firebox are made of samoth, which is resistant to heat and hard knocks. The combustion process and heat output of the fireplace can be easily adjusted with a single lever. Despite the liftgate, the firebox is easy to maintain and clean. The lift hatch opens from the side, allowing the glass to be easily wiped clean from the inside as well. The removable ash pan makes it easy to dispose of ashes in the firebox. The ash core can be built around the desired shell structure. We recommend Silca sheet as a building material for the shells!

Lightness and tightness: The glass door of the fireplace moves quietly and without the use of force thanks to a very easy-running bearing. The glass hatch with its seals presses against the fireplace frame when closed. Glass hatch mouldings:Steel stainless steel mouldings keep the mouldings tight. Ash does not accumulate in the mouldings, but drips back into the firebox. The hatch stays clean. Fire air supply:Fire air is blown into the firebox from above and below the hatch. This keeps the glass of the hatch clean. Wood combustion is completed by supplying combustion air also from under the grate. The wood burns cleanly regardless of the amount of combustion air supplied. High quality cast iron grate: The grate is made of 15mm thick cast iron. There is no need to remove the cast iron grate to remove the ash: fold the grate against the back wall and remove the ash tray. Fire air connection:Standard on all fireplaces. For connection of external combustion air. Fire air can be taken from the side, rear or bottom. This gives a fully enclosed fireplace system. Adjustable feet:Standard on all fireplaces.
