The Camina & Schmid Lina 73 s is a wide-format single-sided fireplace insert designed for those who want a truly striking fireplace opening combined with generous heat output and premium German engineering. Available in three height variants — 51 cm, 57 cm, and 63 cm — with a wide front width of 730 mm and a low fireplace substructure of just 170 mm, the Lina 73 s offers exceptional proportions and installation flexibility to suit a broad range of architectural settings. The insert features a self-closing hinged door with adjustable lower air washing for optimised combustion, and the fire box inner lining is available in white chamotte, anthracite chamotte, or anthracite cast iron to suit any interior palette.
A high-grade cast-iron dome with all fully movable parts adjusts between 0–90°, giving precise control over heat direction and distribution throughout the room. The overall height can be quickly and simply adjusted, and the unit is easy to dismantle for transport, ensuring a smooth installation process. With a nominal heat output of 9 kW and a wide thermal output range of 3.2–10.9 kW, the Lina 73 s distributes 65% of its heat convectively and 35% through radiant output via the expansive viewing window — one of the highest radiant shares in the Lina range, creating a particularly warm and visually impressive fireside experience. Rated energy efficiency class A with an efficiency of over 78% and an energy efficiency index (EEI) of 103.4, this insert complies with the 1st Federal Emissions Control Ordinance Stage 2 and meets EU Regulation 2015/1186.
The flue gas connector measures Ø 200 mm, with a Ø 150 mm combustion air connector available on the left, right, or rear as standard; an optional Ø 150 mm bottom combustion air connector and double glazing are available at a surcharge. Recommended log length is 33 cm and the unit weighs between 240–290 kg depending on configuration.
