Electric Sauna Heater Mondex Aura

The Mondex Aura is a beautiful corner heater that makes ingenious use of sauna space. Wall-mounted and installed in the corner — an area that would otherwise go unused — the Aura frees up valuable floor space, giving you far more freedom in designing your sauna layout. As the legs bear the full weight of the heater, there is no load on the wall itself, and Aura can also be embedded within the sauna bench structure to create even more usable room.

Aura's modern, streamlined design gives any sauna a timeless, luxurious look. Its impressive 70 kg stone capacity allows for a variety of steam styles, which you can regulate by throwing water on the bottom, the perforated front, or directly on top of the heater. The large stone volume retains heat efficiently, delivering a long, smooth steam without erratic temperature swings.

The compact, practical corner design makes Aura an excellent choice for both small and large saunas alike. Flush-mounted in the ceiling, it makes better use of ceiling surface area than almost any other heater design, and a recessed collar is available as an optional accessory for a fully integrated finish.

Available in 6.6 kW (5–9 m³) and 9.0 kW (8–15 m³), the Aura is ideal for space-conscious sauna designs in villas, apartments, and wellness installations across Marbella and the Costa del Sol.

Control options:

The Aura is available exclusively with electronic control — there is no mechanical (M) version:

• E2 Smart Control — A separate, easy-to-use controller that learns your sauna's heating pattern over the first few uses to maintain the optimal temperature energy-efficiently. The controller can be placed in the sauna room, the changing room, or wherever is most convenient.
• E2W WiFi Control — All the benefits of E2, plus intelligent remote control:
  • Remote on/off, timer, and temperature control from your mobile device
  • Door sensor for safety — heating is interrupted if the sauna door is opened during a session
  • Web app session tracking — monitors total heating time, reminds you when sauna stones need replacing, tracks energy consumption and electricity costs
  • Health and wellness logging — record sauna sessions and compare with your own history
  • Multi-user access — add or remove users, including temporary guests, with adjustable data visibility

The E2 and E2W control packages include the controller panel, temperature sensor, a 10 m control cable, and a 4 m temperature sensor cable. WiFi (E2W) models also include a door sensor and cable. The control unit comes in black as standard, with a white control unit available on request. Each control type is also offered in black or stainless steel casing finishes.
