Looking for a great steam experience without sacrificing space? The Mondex Kalla is a wall-mounted floor heater that takes up only a small footprint in the sauna — the perfect choice for smaller saunas where you still want excellent steam and beautiful design. Thanks to its perforated outer casing, you can enjoy gentle, moist steam, or create a hotter sauna experience by throwing water on different parts of the heater.
Although wall-mounted in appearance, the heater's legs bear its full weight, so there is no load on the wall itself. The Kalla can be installed as a free-standing unit or embedded into the sauna bench structure, freeing up extra space for additional benches. An embedding flange is available as an optional accessory for built-in installations.
Available in 6.6 kW (6–9 m³) and 9.0 kW (8–15 m³), the Kalla is ideal for compact home saunas, apartments, and space-conscious wellness installations across Marbella and the Costa del Sol.
Control options:
The Kalla is available exclusively with electronic control — there is no mechanical (M) version:
- E2 Smart Control — A separate, easy-to-use controller that learns your sauna's heating pattern over the first few uses to maintain the optimal temperature energy-efficiently. The controller can be placed in the sauna room, the changing room, or wherever is most convenient.

E2W WiFi Control — All the benefits of E2, plus intelligent remote control:
- Remote on/off, timer, and temperature control from your mobile device
- Door sensor for safety — heating is interrupted if the sauna door is opened during a session
- Web app session tracking — monitors total heating time, reminds you when sauna stones need replacing, tracks energy consumption and electricity costs
- Health and wellness logging — record sauna sessions and compare with your own history
- Multi-user access — add or remove users, including temporary guests, with adjustable data visibility
The E2 and E2W control packages include the controller panel, temperature sensor, a 10 m control cable, and a 4 m temperature sensor cable. WiFi (E2W) models also include a door sensor and cable. The control unit comes in black as standard, with a white control unit available on request. Each control type is also offered in black or stainless steel casing finishes.
